At A Better You Counseling Center, we believe that your thoughts have everything to do with how you feel and behave. Therefore, if you think negative, then you will feel and respond in a negative manner. In order to promote change, you must change your way of thinking. Our goal is to help you identify and dispute your unhealthy thinking; which in turn produces healthier thoughts, feelings and behavior. While you may not be able to change your environment or difficult situations, you can change the way you respond to them. By applying cognitive behavioral therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that have been holding you back from becoming a healthier you!
When working with clients, we make sure that you feel respected, important and understood in a nonjudgmental and supportive environment. Our sessions are positive, action orientated, enlightening, and collaborative. If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, we would love to work with you.
However, if life throws you an unexpected twist and you are having trouble functioning at work and/or home, crying uncontrollably, isolating yourself from others, can’t get out of bed, experiencing a lot of anxiety, and wishing you were no longer here then you may need a more intensive treatment through our Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Program offered 3-5 days a week, 3-4 hours a day.
We offer the following services: Lowest Level 1- Individual, Couple or Family (1x a week/biweekly). Intensive Level 2- Intensive Outpatient Program (3 days a week/3 hours a day). More Intensive level 3-Partial Hospitalization Program (5 days a week/4 hours a day). Child/Adolescent level 2 & 3 Program is 5 days a week, 9-3pm.
